Strategic investments and acquisitions

Brogen Macy International is privately held. It makes strategic investments in, and acquisitions of, services and industries that add value to the group, and it brings its own platforms and assets to everything it takes on.

How the group invests

The test for every investment or acquisition is whether it adds value to the group. That value can be commercial, because a business is profitable or growing. It can be strategic, because it strengthens an existing platform or opens a market the group already serves. Or it can be technical, because it adds a capability that the group's AI platforms can use. A purchase that does none of these is not attractive, however cheap it looks.

Because the group is privately held, decisions are taken by its owners and not by a committee answering to outside shareholders. That allows it to move decisively, to hold what it buys and to judge a business on how well it fits the group.

The areas the group knows

The group looks hardest at the sectors in which it already operates. In travel, it runs the destination network behind Visit Travel Group. In legal and consumer technology, it licenses brands and platforms to the claims sector. In financial services and digital assets, it is building the infrastructure described on the tokenisation page. And across all of them it owns a large portfolio of premium domain names that can give a new business a recognised address and a ready audience.

What the group brings to a business it acquires

A business that joins the group gains access to platform technology and AI tooling, to domain assets that suit its market, and to the experience of a team that has built and sold businesses since 1990. It also gains a clear route to the UAE, where the group is based and where the regulatory landscape for digital assets is among the most developed in the world.

Investing in digital assets and the infrastructure around them

Digital assets are part of the group's own balance sheet and a focus of its investment thinking. Services that make such assets easier to hold, value, protect or transfer fit naturally with YourBank.app, which is the group's own infrastructure initiative. The group treats regulatory fit as a first test, and it looks for businesses that already work within the rules that apply to them.

Talking to the group

The group looks at proposals directly. Nothing on this page is an offer of securities, a solicitation of investment or a statement that any transaction is under way. The group's portfolio is the best guide to what it already owns and operates.
